Think yourself into a wholesome frame of mind

Isn’t it my life and my choice? Sometimes I wonder whether it is and that got me to thinking, real hard.

We’ve all heard strange and extra ordinary stories where things seemingly impossible happen. So why do I dismiss them as “That’s amazing!” Why don’t I think hard on how I can make those extra-ordinary things happen again and again and again?

In fact, why can’t I live an extra ordinary life myself? Isn’t it my life and my choice? Rhetorical question, of course it is, because I know It’s my frame of mind that’s my choice. I can choose to change my frame of mind.

There’s much more to life than this reality, I want to trust these extra-ordinary experiences are normal, not out of the norm; and build upon them.

Think yourself into a wholesome frame of mind.

Athletes call it being in the ZONE

Abraham Maslow the psychologist and Colin Wilson the philosopher call it PEAK EXPERIENCES.

Currently. we tend to look for mechanisms - a how-to guide - step by step to take us forward. Why is it we want to go forward I wonder? Life really isn’t linear. Instead of a mechanism why not CONNECTION? Begin by joining up the dots. And yes, it may mean going backwards and forwards, standing still for a time (God forbid) even going sideways!

Illogical maybe, but lets maybe consider taking a holistic and integrative approach to solving “our own extra-ordinary life puzzle” where body/mind/intuition/spiritual/feelings/senses/coincidences/spontaneity/are all part of one’s greater wholesome self. Let’s consider that there may not be just one cause. or one step to eradicate or integrate, but several as we choose to inhabit a wholesome frame of mind.

Is it worth unlocking your mindset to live life extra-ordinarily?

YES yes yes. you’ll naturally continue in the flow of abundant life, activating free flowing thoughts and mindful action rather than floundering in victim mode, fear and anxiety.

i can think of hundreds of reasons.

  1. I know it's healthier for me - and those around me- to live with a glass half full perspective rather than half empty.

  2. I know it’s healthier for me to be open to playfulness, spontaneity and joy, rather like my dog, Honey. She’s always ready for a walk, play a game or a cuddle.

  3. There’s an old saying: laugh and the world laughs with you cry and you cry alone.

Co-incidences and strange occurrences, not to mention the out-of-the-ordinary experiences are much more common than you might believe.  All you have to do is to tap into them daily, because we all have these innate skills.

It doesn’t have to be impossible. Who says it’s impossible? You’ve a choice. And I choose to be a wholesome human being.  Care to join Harmony Circles?

Do you have an extra-ordinary story to share? I’d love to hear from you. Co-incidences and strange occurrences, not to mention the  out-of-the-ordinary experiences are so much more common than we fully accept and live by.  Rather than explain it away as something extraordinary why not rise up into a new and wholesome frame of mind? One where the impossibility becomes possible? Day after day after day!

Rather than dismissing something as extraordinary why not rise up into a new and wholesome frame of mind? One where the impossibility becomes possible? Day after day after day…

Go on - you’re worth it! I know I am...
